At Vitaco, we’re proud to have celebrated a significant milestone with the expansion of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in East Tāmaki, Auckland. The New Zealand Prime Minister Rt Hon Christopher Luxon officially opened our expanded powder blending plant, marking an exciting moment for our company.
Vitaco’s CEO, Craig Kearney, expressed how much this expansion means as a testament to our dedication to empowering people to live healthier lives. We’ve been on this mission for over a century, and having the Prime Minister attend the opening to meet our hardworking team and see our progress firsthand was an incredible honour.
The new powder blending plant has increased our production capacity by over 70%, enabling us to meet the growing demand for our products. Just as importantly, the expansion has created a better working environment for our people. This facility upgrade is part of a $47 million capital expenditure strategy designed to boost capacity and capability at our East Tāmaki and Penrose sites.
With our well-known brands like Healtheries, Musashi, Nutra-Life, and Athena, we continue to shape the health and wellness landscape across New Zealand, Australia and around the world. The growing global demand for our products has placed us in a strong position to meet consumer needs while upholding our high standards of quality and efficiency. The expanded facility has also opened new opportunities for us to increase exports and grow in international markets.
Vitaco’s expansion demonstrates our ongoing commitment to New Zealand’s long-term economic growth. We’re proud to be contributing to capital investment and helping to reinforce our status as a global leader in premium sports nutrition and health and wellness products.
